WHAT SOUND CAN DO
Physical | ease pain and soreness
“I can cross my legs again!” or “I can sit on my knees!”
These are not uncommon refrains from people as they emerge off the mat and out of the sound stoned state induced by our 1:1 session.
Sound therapy goes beyond nice relaxation. It can alleviate physical pain and inflammation.
But one of reasons why it works is because of what happens when you feel safe enough to relax. You just listen, and surrender to the natural intelligence of the body.
You don’t have to do anything. And, that’s kind of the point.
You’ve been doing; holding on tightly, often unaware how tightly you’ve been gripping or bracing.
This is mostly a familiar but subconscious pattern of protective response – but the cumulative tension and pressure of the unreleased charge created a lock or a block.
When we shift gears, using entrainment to induce slower brain wave states, your tension and stress response dial down.
Your body activates its own repair mechanisms to release soreness and stiffness. Space opens up.
Touch can be an integral tool for healing. But sound vibrations can connect and travel into places where hands cannot. With sound healing you receive deep sonic massage from the inside out. All natural and non-invasive.
Sometimes the relief and return of mobility are immediate. Sometimes there’s a 24-48 hours window of recalibration before the new pattern settles in.
But either way, the physical relief from practitioner sound healing is palpable.
